Q 2. Where is the location of the College?

College is well located, adjucent to Akurdi Railway station connected by road and train facility. It is well connected with Lonavala and Pune station and Local bus facility is available from various parts of Pune, Pimpri, Chinchwad and nearby places

 

Q 3. What is admission procedure? 

All B. Pharm. M.Pharm. Pharm.D and D.Pharm seats filled through centralized admission procedure (CAP -80% seats) and 20% seats filled through Institute level.

 

Q 4.  What are the minimum eligibility criteria for admission?

 

F.Y. B. Pharm . & 

F.Y. Pharm. D.

For First Year B. Pharm. 

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (i.e. 135 marks / out of 300 marks) & for Reserved Category 40% marks (i.e. 120 marks / out of 300 marks). Candidate should obtain non-zero score in MHT- CET-2022 or NEET-2022 (All India candidature)



For First Year Pharm. D.

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (i.e. 150 marks / out of 300 marks) & for Reserved Category 45% marks (i.e. 135 marks / out of 300 marks). Candidate should obtain non-zero score in MHT- CET-2022 or NEET-2022 (All India candidature)

Direct S. Y. B. Pharm.

Open Category: Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.)  with at least 45 % marks from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its

equivalent.

Reserved Category: Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

F. Y. M. Pharm.

For First Year M. Pharm.:

Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from any AICTE,  PCI or Central or State; Government approved institution, with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marks in case of Backward Class category and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); 

Obtained score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2022) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education

It depends upon market forces and demand, but it remains approximately between 2-3 lakhs / annum for B. Pharm students and 3-4 lakhs/ annum for M. Pharm students

Well-furnished and spacious hostel for girls and boys with capacity of 258 and 130 respectively, are available with facilities like hygienic food, gymnasium, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, on call medical help and 24x7 securities.

Q. 20 Is there any Uniform for these courses?

Yes, students are required to wear college uniform 4 days in a week as well as white Apron is compulsory for routine practicals.

 

Q. 21 What extracurricular activities are held in the College?

The Institute organizes Cultural events like Annual gathering, Days celebration, Debate competitions, Sports activities, and also encourages the students to participate in various Inter-collegiate events.

 

Q 22 What is the minimum attendance required for appearing for final exams?

75% attendance for both theory and practical’s is mandatory for attending the final exams.

No, all the subjects during the four year B. Pharmacy course are compulsory

 

Q 24   Is there any health care facility for students? 

The campus has 24 hours emergency and ambulance service. The students are examined for a basic check up as soon as they join the college and later in case any need arises they are provided the best of services. 

 

Q 25    How can I assure about students safety/ security

 

The students are not allowed to enter the campus without I-card, there is only one gate entry. The campus is  24x7 hrs under CCTV surveillance.
