The number of directions a career in Pharma sector can take is nearly limitless. The development of new drugs and improving the way they are delivered is increasing and hence the range of careers open to Pharma graduates is rising. Thus, to gain an insight of different career avenues, an orientation session for M. Pharm students was organized on the theme “Derma-Cosmeceuticals – The latest market trend, regulatory, attractions & Opportunities for Pharma graduates” on 12th May 2022, wherein, Ms. Pooja Dubey, Business Development Specialist from WCC (Western Commercial Corporation) elucidated on Cosmeceuticals, Nutraceuticals and nutricosmetics the fastest growing segments in personal care, H & W Industry, the global derma cosmeceutical dynamics. She also highlighted how these three segments have witnessed an increasing innovation and consumer acceptance who seek to find new ways to maintain health and youth and how Pharma graduates can choose their path in these segments. The major takeaways from the session were to find one’s inclination towards the selection of a career, identify one’s strength and weakness. This session was coordinated by Dr. (Mrs.) Pallavi M.
