SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY, PUNE SPONSORED TWO DAYS STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON "DIGITALISATION IN PHARMACEUTICAL FIELD"

Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi Pune in its endeavor to provide a platform for thought-provoking deliberations, organized Savitribai Phule Pune University sponsored Two days State level Seminar on “Digitalisation in Pharmaceutical Field”recently, with the objective of sensitizing researchers and academics to various aspects Outcomes-based Personalized care,Patient data Digitalisation, Intelligent automation, Efficient disease diagnosis,Smart Clinical Trial Data Management, Cloud Computing,Cyber-security,E-platforms  etc.




 
Dr. A. D. Shaligram, Dean, Science and Technology,Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune; Dr. N. S. Vyawahare, Principal Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy Akurdi;Dr. V.R. Vaidya, Co-ordinator; Dr. S. P. Chaudhari, Vice-Principal; Dr. P.M. Chaudhari, Academic Co-ordinator were present on dias for the inaugural session.

 
The introductory remarks were made by Dr. N. S. Vyawahare, pointed out Review of Advancements and Impacts of Digital Technology on transformation of the Pharmaceutical Industry. 


Dr. V. R. Vaidya, Co-ordinator, gave us the brief idea about the theme of the seminar in his speech.
 


Addressing this State level Seminar on “Digitalisation in Pharmaceutical Field” Dr. A. D. Shaligram said that Digitalisation is emerging technologies are changing the landscape of Pharmaceutical industry and their relationship with their customers while creating new opportunities for better patient care outcome. In recent years, great strides have been made towards digital ecosystem that constantly monitors a patient's condition and provides feedback to the patient and other stakeholders. This ecosystem will help to improve health outcomes by tailoring therapy to a patient's clinical and lifestyle needs and enable remote monitoring by health professionals of a patient's condition and adherence to treatment.This drift is expected to hasten in the forthcoming years, as promising fields related to advanced therapies. Despite these progresses, there are still knowledge gaps,technical and regulatory hurdles that can thwart the approval process of these Innovative products.
 
Dr. Amrit Karmarkar, Director InClinition, Mumbai delivering a talk on Digitalisation in Pharmacovigilance. 


Dr. Haridas Acharya, Professor Allana Institute of Management Sciences, Pune delivered a session on Patterns of Scientific Research


Dr. Nilesh Gandhi, Assistant Commissioner at Food & Drug Administration Mumbai talk on Digital Platforms in Drug Regulation.



Mr. Abhay Patil, Visionary Edupreneur & Net Preneur, Kotak Life Insurance Pune delivered a session on digitalisation in placements.


Ms. Manzeera Mamillapalli, Sciformix Technologies, Pune, delivered a session on Computer System Validation, Mr. Ashish Shedge, Manager Aggregate Safety Reports TCS Mumbai talks on artificial intelligence; Dr. Sharvil Patil, Poona College of Pharmacy Pune gave expert talk on ternary phase diagram. 

Mr. Abhishekh Swami summarized all the session and Dr. Sudhir Pandya proposed a vote of thanks.
